- 2009 marks the ten volume anniversary of the founding of our journal, the Annals of the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine (AACTM). In the current article, we provide a comprehensive and interesting historical overview of our journal’s development during the past 15 years. A historical review of key areas in the journal’s evolution and development is provided, similar to some interesting works describing the evolution of other journals generally, and journals from the Asia-Pacific region, specifically. Our article contains a content analysis of what the Annals has actually been publishing between 1995 and 2009, similar to that conducted by others. For interests sake, we have also chosen to display colour images of journal covers over time, similar to that done by others.
